About Delilah Cooke

Who is Delilah Cooke?

Delilah Cooke is the pen name for a successful genre author who decided to write cozy adventures (with a twist!) for fun. Her stories are heartfelt and entertaining, featuring quirky characters, themes of found family, and just the right amount of chaotic whimsy.

What kind of stories does she write?

As a GenX author, Delilah draws inspiration from unique snapshots in time and place that blend nostalgia, optimism, and a dash of irreverence to create worlds readers fall in love with. Her flagship series, the Keyes Videoshop Mysteries, drops readers into a 1980s small-town video store where the regulars know everyone’s business and murder is never as simple as the town wants it to be.

Delilah Cooke’s stories invite readers to step into her playful, wholehearted universes where chaos and connection always go hand in hand.

What else should readers know about her?

Despite living in Florida, Delilah is nonetheless unapologetically queer, holding progressive values that often inform the themes of community, kindness, and resilience woven throughout her works. When not writing, she enjoys the tactile art of book binding, turning loose pages into beautiful, tangible creations, a craft that reflects her love for thoughtful, homegrown storytelling.
